MURRAY, Ky. - Virgil Kelton Rogers, 87, of Murray died at 7:20 a.m. Thursday at Fern Terrace Lodge in Murray.
Mr. Rogers was a farmer, a member of Glendale Road Church of Christ and a U.S. Army World War II veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Freda Fay Mayfield Rogers; one daughter, Nancy Miller of Murray; two sons, Dwaine E. Rogers and Ralph Franklin Rogers, both of Murray; two sister, Inez Cooper of Clarksville, Tenn., and Imogene Bahr of Cypress, Texas; one brother, Ronald Rogers of Murray; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters. His parents were John Virgil and Lillian Atkins Rogers.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with John Dale officiating. Burial will be at Murray Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call after 11 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
