HARDIN, Ky. - Services for Stanley Warford, 71, of Hardin will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Collier Funeral Chapel in Benton. The Rev. Robert Chandler will officiate, with burial at Murray Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Warford died at 6:30 a.m. Sunday at his home.
He was a retired auto mechanic. He was of the Baptist faith and a Mason in Michigan and California.
He is survived by his wife, Velma Martin Warford; two sons, Tad Warford of Hardin and James Warford of Elkhart, Ind.; four daughters, Valerie Farrell and Gail Winders, both of Hardin, Dian Warford of Paducah, and Tracy McDowell of Tallahassee, Fla.; one brother, Steve Warford of Michigan; one sister, Charlotte Bailey of South Bend, Ind.; 18 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Harold Warford; one brother; one sister; and one grandchild. His parents were Arvil and Clarissa Carter Warford.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
