Robbie Crutcher

Robbie J. Crutcher, 86, of Hazel, died Monday, Oct. 25, 2010, at 3:25 a.m. at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital.

A member of New Providence Baptist Church, she was also a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, Haywood and Ola Mae (Puckett) Jones, she was preceded in death by her husband, Grover H. (Pete) Crutcher, whom she married on Sept. 7,1951, and who died Nov. 21, 2005; and one sister, Jessie Compton.

She is survived by one daughter, Wanda Lee Smith and husband, Melvin of New Concord; two sons, Joe Howell Crutcher and wife, Gaynell of Puryear, Tenn., and Larry Gene Crutcher and wife, Jenny of Hazel; one brother, Thomas R. Jones and wife, Mary of Cadiz; four grandchildren, Samantha Crutcher, Cindy Walker, Logan Crutcher and Hunter Ray Smith; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010, at 1 p.m. at Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike White officiating. Burial will follow in Murray Memorial Gardens.
