Pearl Smith

Mrs. Pearl Smith, age 88, of Kirksey, Kentucky, died on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray, Kentucky.

Mrs. Smith was born March 13, 1930 in Trigg County, Kentucky to the late Marion Baker and Bessie Jones Baker. She was a retired seamstress and Farm wife. She was also of the Methodist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Smith; one brother, John Baker.

Survivors include one son, Johnny Smith and wife LaDonna of Kirksey, Kentucky; three sisters, Bertha Beane of Murray, Kentucky, Dollie "Dot" Clark of Murray, Kentucky and Rachel Jackson and husband Joel of Almo, Kentucky; two brothers, Cecil Baker and wife Janice of Murray, Kentucky and Joe Baker of Farmington, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Brandon Jones of Louisville, Kentucky and Sydney Smith Noonan and husband Zach of Nashville, Tennessee.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 14, 2018 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Rev. Tim Palmer will officiate, and burial will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 13, 2018 from 5-8 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
