Mrs. Sturgill, 79, Murray, died Monday, July 20, 2009, at 12:45 a.m. at Spring Creek Health Care. Born June 28, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Joe Collins and Molly Hatfield. Also preceding her in death were one brother, Glen Collins, and one sister, Sada Deards. Survivors include her husband, Melvin Sturgill; one daughter, Pamela Milton, Murray; one sister, Jo Miles, Ashland; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
