Paulene Buchanan

The funeral for Mrs. Paulene Buchanan will be today (Tuesday) at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Imes-Miller Funeral Home. Rev. Kerry Lambert and Rev. Brad Burns will officiate. Pallbearers will be Randy, Barry, Ricky, Bobby Wayne and Jerry Cunningham, Danny Ragsdale, John L. Morgan, Jerry Tucker, Kerry Stone, Karl Smith, Mitchell Stom and Eddie Clyde Hale. A private burial will follow.

Mrs. Buchanan, 82, Murray, died Sunday, Nov. 23, 2008, at 11:25 p.m. at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.
She was a member of Elm Grove Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Lloyd Buchanan; two brothers, Roy and Garnett Cunningham, and one sister, Arlene Burkeen. Born Aug. 3,1926, in Calloway County, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Ruth Colley Cunningham.
Survivors include one son, Donny Buchanan and wife, Pamela, Murray; one daughter, Sharon Smith and husband, Keith, Almo; two brothers, Guy Cunningham and wife, June, and W.A. Cunningham and wife, Hazel, all of Murray; four grandchildren, Kathy Seavers, Ben Buchanan, Shane Smith and Lindsey Smith; three great-grandchildren.
