Patricia Swift

Mrs. Pat (Patricia) Swift, age 74, of Murray, Kentucky died Monday, May 21, 2018 at her home.
Mrs. Swift was born in Calloway County, Kentucky on September 2, 1943 to the late Hubert Louis Hooper and Rhupayne Key Hooper Adams. Mrs. Swift retired after 33 years from the Murray Calloway County Hospital as a charge clerk. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Christian Adult Sunday School Class.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Swift was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Alexander and Mary Katherine Springborn; and by one brother, John Hooper.
Mrs. Swift is survived by her husband, Alton Swift of Murray, Kentucky to whom she married on June 24, 1961 in Kirksey, Kentucky at the Mt. Carmel Methodist Church; two daughters, Sheri Hill and husband Dewayne and Tina Wolford and husband Aaron all of Murray ,Kentucky; one son, Nick Swift and wife Cindy of Gallatin, Tennessee; one brother, James Hooper and wife Judy of Murray, Kentucky; eight grandchildren, Chelsea Wadkins, Keshea Wadkins, Lucas Hill, Justin Hill, Rachel Swift, Patrick Swift, Lauren Roach and Jesse Beasley; two great-grandchildren, Harper Roach and Stella Roach; as well as, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Dye and Rev. Jim Stahler officiating. Burial will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. There will also be visitation prior to the funeral service on Thursday, May 24, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
