Oma Tidwell

Mrs. Oma Lou Tidwell age 72, of Murray, Kentucky, died 3:00 a.m., Saturday, November 19, 2016 at her home.
Mrs. Tidwell was born July 16, 1944 in Mayfield, Kentucky, to the late Howard Reed and Christine Hughes Roach. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Tidwell; son, Michael Tidwell; two sisters, Kay Wallace, and Brenda Reed.
Survivors include her husband, James Travis of Murray, Kentucky; four daughters, Gail Green and husband Craig of Murray, Kentucky, Dena Gibson and husband Casey of Murray, Kentucky, Rebecca Patterson and husband Patrick of Murray, Kentucky, and Brandi Pigg and husband Richard of Bardwell, Kentucky; son, David Tidwell and wife Patricia of Camden, Tennessee; thirteen grandchildren, Leslie, Kelly, Michael, Kelsie, Andie, Alex, Mariah, Savannah, Ethan, Shayne, Brittney, Heather, and Dameon; eleven great grandchildren, Drew, Sarah, Elizabeth, Brayden, Damien, Cameron, Jadallah, Gabriella, Ronnie, Landon, and Alexis.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 21, 2016 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home, Bro. Richard Pigg will officiate, and entombment will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Monday, November 21, 2016 from 11 a.m. till 2 p.m., at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
