Ola Harrell

Ola Mae Harrell, age 92, of Clarksville, Tennessee, died Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at St. Thomas West in Nashville.

Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View is in charge of the arrangements.

Funeral services will be held at Calvary Bible Church, 5245 Hwy 41A, Joelton, Tennessee, 37080, Saturday, March 9th, at 10:30 AM with her son, Dr. David Harrell officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 PM, in the Murray Memorial Gardens in Murray, Kentucky. Family will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at the church, Friday, March 8th, from 5:00-7:00 PM and again on Saturday, March 9th, from 9:30 AM until the hour of service at 10:30 AM.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

Mrs. Harrell was born on July 24, 1926 in Stella, Kentucky to the late James “Herman” and Addie Mae Johnson Cathey. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Bible Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Cathey Tierney; brothers, Buron and James Cathey; and sister, Lorell Stokes.

Mrs. Harrell is survived by her husband of 71 years, Edgar A Harrell; son, Dr. David Harrell and his wife Nancy; son-in-law, Dr. Joe (Alice) Tierney; grandchildren, Joseph (Dana) Harrell, Jana (Andrew) Zulewski, Joshua (Lara) Harrell, Joseph (Sarah) Tierney, Colin Tierney, Ben Tierney, Ross Tierney, and Celeste Tierney; and fourteen great grandchildren.
