Funeral services for Myron B. Culp, 90, of Murray, will be held today, Friday, May 27, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Imes-Miller Funeral Home with Ricky Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Murray Memorial Gardens.
Serving as pallbearers will be Brett Nance, Jimmy Pierce and the grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Housden, Keith Williams, Charles Outland, Isaac Allbritten and Hal Allbritten.
Culp died Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital.
He was a World War II Army veteran and was a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, Charlie F. and Lela Dunn Culp, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Milton, J.B. and O.B. Culp; and a sister, Wilmena Goheen.
He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Erlene Love Culp; a son, Glen Culp; special friend, Becky Nance of Murray; a daughter, Betty Atkins and husband, Bobby of Murray; four grandchildren, Kim Culp, Chad Culp, Tony Atkins and Greg Atkins; and one great-grandchild.
