Mildred Nall

Graveside services for Mildred Louise Corwin Nall, 87, of Murray, will be held today, Thursday, April 21, 2011, at 1:30 p.m. at the Murray Memorial Gardens in Murray with Fr. Jason McClure officiating with burial to follow.

Visitation will also be today, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home prior to services.

Nall died Saturday, April 16, 2011, at 11:35 p.m. at the Spring Creek Health Care in Murray.

Born in Oklahoma City, Okla. on July 16, 1922, to the late Dennis Miller Corwin and Sarah Louise Zimpelman Corwin, she was a member of the St. Leo Catholic Church in Murray. She was also active in many different organizations and clubs, including a past member of the Murray Woman's Club, Murray Bridge Club and the Toast Master Club. She served as a past president of the Kentucky PTA and was a past Girl Scout leader.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Nall, Jr.; and one brother, Robert Corwin.

She is survived by two sons, Dennis C. Nall, Sr. and wife, Vicky of Rosenberg, Texas, and William C. "Bud" Nall, III of Murray; one brother, Norman Corwin of California; four grandchildren, Dennis C. Nall, Jr. of Rosenberg, Timothy A. Nall and wife, Mercedes of Richmond, Texas, Angela Gutowsky and husband, Will of Richmond, Texas, and Sarah West and husband, Roger of Murray; and four great-grandchildren.
