Mark Diel

Mr. Mark Thomas Diel, age 60 of Kirksey, KY passed away at 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at his farm due to a heavy equipment accident. Mark was of the Methodist faith and formerly worked at the West KY Rural Telephone Company.

Survivors include his son – John Michael (Haley) Diel of Mayfield, KY; daughter – Jessica (J.J.) Hayden of Fancy Farm, KY; sister – Pamela (Larry) Lawrence of Kirksey, KY; brother – Joe Diel of Farmington, KY; and grandchildren – Miller Diel and Olivia Diel.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents Thomas Edward & Mary Elizabeth (Turner) Diel and a brother – Michael Diel.

Funeral service for Mark will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 11, 2022 at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Steve Melvin will officiate with burial to follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Friends are invited to call after 11:00 AM on Friday, November 11, 2022 until the funeral hour at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY
