Mrs. Lenda Massa, age 78, of Murray, Kentucky died Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the St. Mary's Hospital, Richmond, Virginia.
Mrs. Massa was born April 25, 1938 in Dexter, Kentucky to the late Velbert (Pete) Burkeen and Odie Lee Burkeen. She was a church pianist for over 30 years.
She is survived by her husband, Willie C. Massa; Susan Magee (Brian), Midlothian, VA; son, Brian Massa, Midlothian, VA; three grandchildren, Rebecca Dickenson, Rachel Lewis, and Sarah Rowe; and seven great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 11:00am Wednesday at the Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family from 4:00pm to 8:00pm Tuesday at the Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home.
