HARDIN, Ky. - Mrs. Lena Darnell, 74, of Hardin died at 10 p.m. Thursday at Britthaven of Benton.
She was a member of Hardin Baptist Church and the Tuesday Sewing Group.
She is survived by her husband, Billy Bob Darnell Sr.; a daughter, Sherry Case of Lake, Mich.; a son, Billy Bob Darnell Jr. of Lexington, S.C.; a sister, Annis Arant of Hardin; two brothers, the Rev. Alvin York of Murray and Dan York of Tucson, Ariz.; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Latus and Jewell (Lamb) York; one sister; and two brothers.
The funeral service will be held at noon Monday at Hardin Baptist Church with the Revs. Ricky Cunningham and Trad York officiating. Burial will follow in Murray Memorial Gardens. Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home in Murray, and after 10 a.m. Monday at Hardin Baptist Church.
