Kenneth Ralph Bowden, 79, Murray, died Thursday, April 8, 2010, at 7:50 p.m. at Murray Calloway County Hospital.
Born June 14, 1930, in Herman, Minn., he was the son of the late Roscoe Bowden and Florence Bartz Bowden. Also preceding him in death were three brothers, Roy, Dennis and Lyle Bowden, and one sister, Phyllis Olhoft. He was employed in utility maintenance for over 25 years with the City of Edina Water Company. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Bowden, Fern Terrace Lodge, Murray; two stepsons, Brian T. O'Neill, Murray, and Kevin O'Neill; three stepdaughters, Kathleen Howard and her husband, Glenn; Margaret Ann O'Neill, and June Rogalla; several nieces and nephews including Debra Olhoft and Sherry Decamp.
A memorial service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Imes-Miller Funeral Home. The family requests that flowers be omitted and requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Playhouse In the Park, 701 Gil Hopson Dr., Murray, KY 42071.
