Mrs. Katie Thompson, age 78 of Mayfield, Ky passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 5:09 PM at the Green Acres Healthcare Facility.
She was a member of the Northside Baptist Church, and a retired Nurses Aide.
Mrs. Thompson is survived her husband- Curtis Thompson of Mayfield, Ky; daughter- Sharon Thompson of Mayfield, Ky; brother- Donald Goins of Mayfield, Ky; two grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents- Cerial & Katherine Stamper Goins.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, Ky with Rev. Monte Hodges officiating. Burial will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 5-7 PM on Monday, July 24, 2017 at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, Ky.
