The funeral for Mrs. Juanita Woods was Sunday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Imes-Miller Funeral Home. Rev. James Harris and Rev. Paul Bogard officiated. A private committal service will be today (Monday) at Murray Memorial Gardens. Online condolences may be made at www.imesmiller.com.
Mrs. Woods, 84, Ellis Drive, Murray, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2008, at 6 a.m. at Western Baptist Hospital, Paducah.
She was a member of Trinity Christian Church. Her husband, Burlin Woods, preceded her in death. Born Jan. 31, 1924, in Almo, she was the daughter of the late Orville Fulcher and Ruby McConnell Fulcher.
Survivors include one son, William Ray Self and wife, Nancy, Wood River, Ill.; one daughter, Pearl Garland, Murray; three brothers, Vernon Fulcher and wife, Marge, Las Vegas, Nev., and James Fulcher and Joe Fulcher, both of Murray; three sisters, Ruth Jackson, Las Vegas, Marjorie Williams and husband, Gene, Murray, and Ethel Banks and husband, Gene, Bethalto, Ill.; five grandchildren, Rachel Tubbs and husband, Dwain, Murray, Laura Legate and husband, Steve, Cuba, and Paul David Adams, Billie Dawn Self and Evelyn Robbins and husband, Mike, all of Illinois; 10 great-grandchildren including Dakota Holland and Hannah Tubbs, Murray, and Alysha Legate, Cuba.
