John Galloway

John Darius Galloway
Mr. John Darius Galloway, 90, of Murray, died Friday, November 13, 2009, at 6:15 p.m. at Spring Creek Health Care. An Army veteran of WWI, he was retired from Ford Motor Company and of the Baptist faith. He was born October 31, 1919 in Calloway County. Survivors include one brother, B. Max (Scotty) Galloway of Little Rock, Ark.; brother-in-law Randolph Story of Murray; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his wife, Wanda Reynolds Galloway; parents, Abner and Zelda Harding Galloway; sisters, Iva Brandon, Euna York, Martha White, Jean Story and Geneva Galloway; and brothers, Harding, Bryan and Paul Galloway. A funeral service will be held today (Monday) at 11 a.m. graveside at Murray Memorial Gardens. John Dale will officiate. Visitation was from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Murray-Calloway County Hospice House, 803 Poplar Street, Murray, Ky. 42071.
