Mr. J.B. Wilson, 81, of Murray, died Friday, Aug. 20, 2010, at 10:40 p.m. at Spring Creek Health Care.
Born on January 29, 1929, in Calloway County, Wilson was a member of North Fork Baptist Church and a retired truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Virginia Bennett Wilson, whom he married on March 22, 1968 and who died on March 8, 2009; parents Will and Audie (Enoch) Wilson; a daugther, Jean Edwards; a sister, Cloteal Paschall; and a brother, Dolphus Wilson.
Wilson is survived by four daughters, Aleshia Cunningham (Rev. David) of New Concord, Deneshia Underwood (Jay) of Hazel, Lori Melton (Rick) of Murray, and Shelby Heldenbrand of Ledbetter; a son, Jerry Edwards (Pam) of Johnson City, Tenn.; a sister, Opal Paschall of Murray; a brother, Boyce Wilson (Beauton) of Murray; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home with Rev. David Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow at Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be today, Monday, Aug. 23, from 5-8 p.m. at Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home.
