James Thweatt

Mr. James Thweatt, age 76, of Murray, Kentucky, died Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at the Murray - Calloway Co. Hospital.

Mr. Thweatt was born in Marshall County, Kentucky on May 5, 1942 to the late Elburn Thweatt and Eunice (Mason) Thweatt. Mr. Thweatt retired from General Tire and was of the Church of Christ faith.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Thweatt was preceded in death by one brother, Dayton Thweatt.

Mr. Thweatt is survived by two daughters, Renee Garrison and husband Mickey of Hazel, Kentucky and Linda McCallon and husband Terry of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Terry Thweatt and wife Terri of Murray, Kentucky; one sister, Anna Arant of Murray, Kentucky; as well as four grandchildren, Shaun Thweatt, Kennedy Fike and husband Landon, Kallie Garrison and Rylee McCallon.

Private family services will be held. There will be no public visitation or service.
