Ingeborg Waltruad King
Ingeborg Waltruad King, 86, of Clarksville, Tenn., formerly of Murray, died Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011, at the Sterling House Assisted Living in Clarksville.
Born in Germany on May 10, 1925, she arrived in the United States of America in 1952. King was married to the late John F. King after meeting in Germany while he was serving in the Army. In 1973, they moved from Texas to Hazel. She represented the Welcome Wagon in Murray, was a member of the Eastern Star, worked and volunteered with the Shriners on various events and was a member of the St. Leo Catholic Church.
She is survived by one sister, Gisela Eberhard of Germany; two nephews, Manfred Spingler and family and Herbert Spingler and family, all of Germany.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2011, at 10 a.m. at St. Leo Catholic Church with Father Jason McClure officiating. Burial to follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 22, 2011 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
