He was very active in Rotary Club in Clarksville and Bowling Green, serving as Sunrise Chapter President and was a Paul Harris Fellow. Rex served 5 years in the US Army.
Rex is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Frances, two children, Andrea and John, and sister, Hilda Darnell. He is loved by many surviving nieces (Donna Green), nephews (Kenny and Danny Darnell), in-laws (Christine, Gail, Burke and Danny Howcroft), and cousins.
