The funeral for Mrs. Diana Tipton is Monday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of J.H. Churchill Funeral. Rev. Tim Palmer and Rev. Dale Sheridan officiated. Burial will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Tipton, 65, Hawthorn Rd., Murray, (Coldwater community), died Friday, June 11, 2010, at 2:20 a.m. at her home. She was a member of Coldwater United Methodist Church and had retired from Piggly Wiggly, Murray. Born April 25, 1945, in Calloway County, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Elizabeth Cooper Sheridan. One brother, Ernie Sheridan, also preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband, Charles Tipton, to whom she was married July 15, 1961; one daughter, Marla Moyer and husband, Randy, Lake Jackson, Texas; one son, David Tipton and wife, Amanda, Murray; one brother, Jerry Sheridan and wife, Lottie, Murray; four grandchildren, Summer and Brittany Tipton and Jacob and Brian Moyer.
