Diana Irby

Mrs. Diana L. Irby, age 85, of Murray, Kentucky died at 8:00pm Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center, Mayfield, Kentucky.

Mrs. Irby was born July 13, 1936 in Benton, Illinois to the late George and Minnie Denham Freese.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jim Irby; great grandchild, Dean Sweatman; and siblings, Carmen White, Wendell Freese, Phyllis Kerney, Denny Freese, July Clark, and Richard Freese.

She is survived by her son, Jimmy D. Irby (Teresa); daughter, Patti Sweatman; three grandchildren, Russell Sweatman, Matt Irby, and Katie Sweatman; and eight great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 11:00am Saturday, August 7, 2021 at the Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home with Bro. Brett Miles officiating.  Burial will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens and friends may visit the family from 4:00pm to 8:00pm Friday at the Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home.
