MURRAY, Ky. - Services for Charles B. Stark, 83, of Murray will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2007, at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home in Murray. John Hancock and Richard Youngblood will officiate. Burial will follow at Murray Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Stark died at 9:20 a.m. Sunday, November 11, 2007, at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray.
He was the retired owner of the Star-Lu Farms in Kirksey, Ky. He was a member of the University Church of Christ. He was a WWII Navy veteran. He was born in Calloway Co, Ky., on September 11, 1924.
He is survived by one daughter, Sandra Wilson and husband, Ed, of Paducah; one son, Jerry P. Stark and wife, Melissa, of Murray; four grandchildren, Jay Stark and wife, Hannah, of Murray, Tim Stark and wife, Emily, of Murray, Kacey Puricelli and husband, Micah, of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Whitney Jones of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; two great-grandchildren, Eve Stark and Zak Stark; and one brother-in-law, Joe B. Adams of Hazel, Ky.
His parents were James B. Stark and Nettie Jones Stark. He also was preceded in death by his wife, Lou Ellen Adams Stark.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. Monday, November 12, 2007, at the funeral Home.
