Charles L. Outland, 74, of Murray, Ky., died at 1:35 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, 2011, at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital.
He was the retired owner of Outland Grain Company and a farmer. He was the 1995 KY State Tractor Pulling Association Champion.
He was born Oct. 3,1936, in Murray.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmus and Jewel (Lovins) Outland and one brother; James Outland.
He is survived by two daughters, Jan Outland McKeel, and husband, Mickey, of Columbia, Tenn., and Judy Outland Zwierzchowski, and husband, Mike, of Cumming, Ga.; one brother, Joe Outland, and wife, Carolyn, of Calvert City; three grandchildren, John Curtis (Curry) McKeel, Katie McKeel and Tyler Zwierzchowski; one sister-in-law, Patsy Outland, of Murray; one uncle, Charlie Lovins, of Murray; two nieces, two nephews, and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2001, at Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Murray Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
