Charles Elkins

Mr. Charles Bryan Elkins, age 92 of Murray, Kentucky, died Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.

He worked as a television repair man for Ward Elkins for several years; he was a member of the Glendale Road Church of Christ; he was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII.

He was born July 23, 1923 in New Concord, Kentucky to the late Robert S. and Myrtle Bryan Elkins. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his wife, Fausteen Williams Elkins; one sister, Betty Sue Elkins; two brothers, W.A. Elkins and Rainy Elkins.

Mr. Elkins is survived by one daughter, Pam Perkins and husband David of Murray, Kentucky. He is also survived by a very special friend Mary Outland of Murray, Kentucky and her family. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside services will be 11:00 am Friday, January 1, 2016 in the Murray Memorial Gardens. John Dale will officiate. Visitation will be held after 9:00 am Friday, January 1, 2016 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
