Charles "Pat" Bogard, 68, of Murray, died Monday, Jan. 31, 2011, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn.
Born March 11, 1942 in Calloway County, he was a member of the First Baptist Church of Murray and was a retired route salesman for 33 years with Bunny Bread.
In addition to his parents, Noman and Mamie Underwood Bogard, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bill Darnell and Gene Bogard.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly Thomas Bogard of Murray, whom he married June 20, 1979 in Calloway County; three daughters, Tammi Burgess and husband, Jimmy of Brewers, Tina Wright and husband, Randy of Murray, and Sherri Miller and husband, Keith of Murray; two sons, Doug Davis and wife, Patty of Arab, Ala., and David Davis and wife, Bobbie of Union City, Tenn.; and seven grandchildren, Garret and Sloane Wright, Ryan and Alex Miller, all of Murray, Zach and Jessie Davis of Arab, Ala., and Matt Barnett of Jackson, Tenn. Graveside services will be held Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011, at 11 a.m. at the Murray Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Boyd Smith officiating.
