Catherine Jones

Ms. Catherine Rowlett Jones, age 82, of Murray, Kentucky died at 6:00pm Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at her residence.

Ms. Jones was born January 12, 1933 in Murray, Kentucky to the late Albert & Alberta Martin. Her daughter, Linda Jones died on December 10, 2015. She was a member of the St. John Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Briscoe, Murray, and Lisa Jones, Murray; son, Marcus Jones, Germany; sisters, Bernice Bennette, Toledo, OH and Loretta Martin, Toledo, OH; brothers, Wells P. Martin, Indianapolis, IN, James Lee Martin, Indianapolis, IN, and Douglas Earl Martin, Indianapolis, IN; sixteen grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

Friends may visit the family from 4:00pm to 6:00pm Monday at the Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home.
A joint funeral service with her daughter, Linda B. Jones will be at 11:00am Tuesday at the Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home with the committal service at noon at Bell Memorial Chapel inside Murray Memorial Gardens with burial to follow in the Murray Memorial's Garden of Everlasting Life.
