Mrs. Annie Scalf, 76, of Murray, passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Spring Creek Healthcare in Murray.
Annie was born in Model, TN to William and Evelyn Fox Cherry. She attended Hogsjaw, a one room school, in Model, TN. Annie retired from the Air Forces Escape & Evade Society, AFEES, where she worked as a civilian computer technician. She was a member of Scott's Grove Baptist Church.
Annie is survived by her husband, Dewey Scalf, to whom she was married May 14, 2004; three step daughters, Carolyn Sue Saylers, husband David of Calvert City, Lisa Scalf of Grand Rivers, Jami Adams, husband Nathan of Hazel; a brother, Wilton Cherry, wife Mary Ann of Dover, TN; a sister Murl Scalf of Dover; a niece, Karen Bumpus, husband Brett of Dover; nephew, Anthony Cherry, wife Leeann of Dover; eight step grandchildren and three step great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Annie was preceded in death by a brother, Donnie Cherry and two nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 16, 2019 at the Heritage Chapel of Imes Funeral Home, 1804 Highway 121 Bypass N., Murray, KY 42071. Terry Joslyn and Joe Shannon will officiate. Carson Bumpus, Anthony Cherry, William Scalf, Jared Scalf Trenton Cherry and Preston Frommeyer will serve as pallbearers. Samantha Smith Hunter Adams and Ashley Cherry will serve as honorary pallbearers. Burial will follow at Murray Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors between 5-8 PM, Friday, February 15, 2019 at the Heritage chapel of Imes Funeral Home.
