Anna Faye Adams Hoke, 88, of Murray, died December 25, 2011 at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.
Born March 12, 1923 in Murray, Hoke was a member and former Sunday school teacher at Scott's Grove Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband of more than 60 years, Carl; parents, Ed B. and Ora Josephine Hill Adams; son, Charles Hoke; brothers, Harry, J.B., Tom, Rayburn G., Fred, Hill and Dick Adams; sisters, Gladys Darnell, Birdie Lawson and Treva Block.
Hoke is survived by two daughters, Marie Keel and husband, Ken, of Old Hickory, Tenn; Diana Bennett of Murray; two sons, Jackie Hoke and wife, Linda of Murray; Tommy Hoke and wife, Pam, of Murray; a daughter-in-law, Peggy Hoke of Murray; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. today, Tuesday, December 27 at the Heritage Family Funeral Home. John Denham and Rev. Glenn Orr will officiate. Interment will follow at the Murray Memorial Gardens.
