Mrs. Anita Elenora Bucy A graveside service for Mrs. Anita Elenora Bucy will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Murray Memorial Gardens. Garry Evans will officiate. Entombment will be at the Gardens. Churchill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Bucy, 84, Lawson Road, Murray, died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2009, at 11:45 a.m. at Murray-Calloway County Hospital. A homemaker, she was a member of Glendale Road Church of Christ. Born April 11, 1924, in Clark County, Wis., she was the daughter of the late Joe and Lillian Burtard Ackerman. Also preceding her in death were one sister, Dora Evans, and one brother, Joseph Ackerman. Survivors include her husband, J.T. Bucy, to whom she was married March 28, 1944, in Chicago, Ill.; two sons, Dale Bucy and wife, Marsha, Murray, and Jay Bucy and wife, Barbara, Louisville; one sister, Donna Krogar; two brothers, Orlando and Floyd Ackerman; seven grandchildren, Stacy English, Caroline Smith, Daniel Cooly, Kimberly Carrico, Sara Murphy, Ashley Southard and John Bucy; 11 great-grandchildren.
