Andrew Rachoy Jr

Funeral services for Andrew J. Rachoy, Jr., 95, of Murray, Ky., will be held at 1p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011, at St. Leo Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Murray Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, 2011, at Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home, where prayers will be said at 7 p.m. Friday.

Mr. Rachoy died at 6:40 p.m. Monday, Nov. 28, 2011, at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.

He was a member of St. Leo Catholic Church, The Knights of Columbus and the Teamsters Local # 142. He was born June 24, 1916, in Rice Lake, Wis.

Mr. Rachoy was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy (Wachowiacz) Rachoy on Nov. 21, 2003. They were married April 26, 1941. His parents were Andrew John Rachoy, Sr. and Mary Theresa (Mente) Rachoy.

He is survived by four sons, Andrew (Andy) Rachoy, III and wife, Cindy and Richard Rachoy, all of Murray, John Rachoy and wife, Marylou, of Dyer, Tenn., and Jerry Rachoy, of Portage, Ind.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
