Amy Boggess Rose, 32, of Dexter, died Monday, May 23, 2011, at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital.

Born Oct. 15, 1978 in Murray, she was an employee of Martha's Restaurant and was a member of Almo Church of Christ. She graduated from Calloway County High School and also attended Murray State University.

Preceding in death were her parents, James "Tiny" and Carolyn Andrus Boggess.

She is survived by two daughters, Madolyn "Maddie" Marie Rose and Macy Jane Kirks of Dexter; brother, Tommy Boggess of Murray; sister-in-law, Shelia Boggess of Murray; nephew, Tyler Boggess of Henderson; and nieces, Marcy O'Dell of Murray, and Carey Story of Puryear, Tenn.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at 11 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Priestly Scott and Don Campbell officiating. Burial will be in the Murray Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be tonight, Tuesday, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
